Gifts to the Law School

Thank you for considering a gift to the University of Connecticut Law School Foundation. Every year, Law School graduates, faculty, friends, law firms, corporations and foundations generously support the Law School through gifts to the Foundation, directed toward the annual fund or as a major gift.

Annual Fund

Each year the Law School Foundation reaches out to alumni/ae and friends for support through its Annual Fund. Gifts received through this appeal provide unrestricted support, which can be used to meet the School's immediate needs and its day-to-day operations. Annual Fund gifts are completely tax-deductible and help provide resources to supplement the state budget and tuition income.

Law Firm and Corporate Matching Gifts

Matching gifts from your or your spouse's employer can double or triple your gift to the Law School Foundation. Please contact your human resources or employee benefits office to obtain the necessary forms.

Major Gifts

There are many opportunities for donors to make a significant impact upon the law school through a major gift to such areas as:

  • Scholarships
  • Endowed faculty positions
  • Research professorships
  • The Insurance Law Center
  • Center for Information Law & Policy
  • International Programs
  • Facilities support

Gifts of Securities
